The location of the cottage was stunning, with beautiful views of open fields and a quiet lane with no road noise. the lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy starry nights. It was perfectly situated between two great towns, making it easy to explore the Ceredigion coast.
The lack of communication regarding checking in and collecting the keys was a bit confusing and made my son feel unsure if he was in the right place. It would have been nice to have a welcome note or something to put him more at ease.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage nestled in the peaceful countryside. The cottage was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. The bed was a dream to sleep in, adorned with crisp white bedding and accompanied by luxurious white towels in the bathroom. I especially enjoyed spending time on the patio, enjoying a glass of wine while immersing myself in the tranquility of the surroundings. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Collette who warmly welcomed me with a delicious buttered bara brith, a lovely personal touch. The cottage had all the necessary amenities, and the well-stocked kitchen made it convenient to prepare meals. The convenient location allowed for easy exploration of Aberaeron, New Quay, and nearby destinations such as Cardigan and Fishguard. The view from the back of the cottage overlooking the fields with sheep and lambs was a delightful bonus, and the night sky filled with stars was a breathtaking sight free from light pollution.
While my stay was overall exceptional, I did encounter a couple of minor drawbacks. The lack of communication regarding check-in and key collection initially left me unsure if I was in the right place, and a simple note or welcome message would have eased any concerns.
